Rainbow Slush

When discussing rainbows, you have to make rainbow slush......it's a MUST!

First, you need a couple packages of freeze pops.

Have the children sort the popsicles by color.....this package had pink instead of yellow.....so now we have lots of pink freeze pops in the freezer!

Cut open the popsicles and break up into the bowl......I got out my winter gloves cause I'm a wimp and my hands were cold!  Then take a fork or if you have a "Mix 'N Chop" from Pampered Chef that works great too....easier for the kids to help.  Smash them up so there are no big chunks and get it as smooth as possible.....this helps to spread it more eavenly.

Then poor into a trifle bowl.  Repeat with all the colors.  Make sure you put the trifle in the freezer between layers so the colors don't mix.

And there you have it.....Rainbow Slush.

I took it out of the freezer a little before we were ready to eat to soften it up a bit, but still had to use a knife to break it up a bit in order to get a spoon in it to serve it.  The kids LOVED it!!!  Will definitely make again.....may stock up.....the freeze pops are on sale at Alco for $1!
