Scavenger Hunt

Last week we had a chilly and windy day.....didn't feel like summer at all!  So, instead of going to the pool or playing in the water, I made up a scavenger hunt for the kids to look for different things outside.....the big kids were in charge of writing down their findings for their group and I snapped pictures of some of their findings along the way.  We brought sacks in case they wanted to bring things home, but the only thing we brought home was a pop can!

Here are just a few of our findings from our morning hunt.
Orange plastic

Red spray paint on road.

White arrow.

Black tar.

Blue sky, white clouds, green grass, yellow wheat

Pink flowers

Green cactus

Red stop sign, although it looks a bit orange!

Red pop can.

Brown/tan hay bales.

Red fire hydrant.

Yellow wheat or gold as some of the kids said!

Gray and white shed.

Yellow dandelion.

White light.

Gray stone.

Purple flowers.
Brown water.

 Orange flowers.
The kids had so much fun with the scavenger hunt, will definitely be doing more throughout the summer......kept them entertained for most of the morning.....lots to look at around the neighborhood.
