Cinnamon Apple

While our pies were baking, we made a big cinnamon apple.

 I first cut a large apple out of butcher paper.  Then I sprinkled some cinnamon and poured red paint on the apple.....then the children mixed the two together like we did when making the pie. 

Then the painting began......it was such a beautiful day, that we decided to paint outside.

Their apple.....it smelled sooo good!

It's a great song to sing when your kids are already acting silly and it's also good for teaching long vowel sounds.
