Disney World - Day 2, Part 2

Well here is the rest of one of our days at Magic Kingdom......we went back several times for rides we missed or wanted to do again or parades, so you will probably be seeing more of Magic Kingdom pictures as I post more about Disney.

I forgot to post this picture on the first post, so here are 3 very excited children riding the tram to Magic Kingdom.....I just love their big smiles!!!

Big Thunder Mountain

Maddox had to hang out in the stroller while big brother and sister rode some of the bigger rides.....he didn't seem to mind though as long as he had his snacks!

Pirates of the Caribbean ride......one of their favorites!  It was difficult to take pictures of some of the rides, so the pictures I post are no where near the rides we were on.......we rode a lot of the rides together and sometimes there was no flash photography......and sometimes we just enjoyed the moments and didn't worry about all the pictures!

This was the Jungle Cruise.....we had a very interesting tour guide, let's put it this way she was very into her character!

Swiss Family Treehouse

Always lots of toys to stop and look at!  Be prepared to spend the bucks on souvenirs!

Tomorrowland

Maddox was waiting for Reese and Cooper to get done riding Stitch's Great Escape.....he was getting a little tired at this point, but then of course got his second wind and we were on to the next thing!

These were the pictures they snapped of us while we road Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin......you each had a laser gun and you were to shoot the "Z".  It tallied your shots and then at the end, it gave you a name for the level you received......Galactic Hero was the highest!

Locked up with Zurg!

This was Dream Along with Mickey.....a show in front of the Castle.  This was shown everyday and a couple times a day.....about a 20 minute show.  It's a story about how Donald doesn't believe in dreams and then throughout the story (they sing and dance) the other characters get him to believe.

Maddox was excited to ride Dumbo! This was probably the longest wait (should have gotten a fast-pass....will explain that in another post). You are waiting in line and you think you are getting close to the front, then all of a sudden they hand you a beeper (like you get at a restaurant) and they have a giant play area to play in while you wait. When your buzzer goes off, then you go stand in line again to get on......we probably waited 45 minutes all together, but the nice part was we got to sit and rest for awhile and the kids just played!

The Tea Cups.....a definite favorite!  We all fit in one tea cup, which was a bit tight but so much fun!

We dined with the Pooh Characters at The Crystal Palace......I have to say all the character meals were really good and a lot of fun.  Saved us a lot of time too, didn't have to always wait in line to get pictures and autographs of the characters.

The castle all lit up (200,000 lights).....so beautiful and on top of all the Christmas lights, the castle would change to different colors as well.....pink, purple, blue, green.

Valentine Party!!

Yesterday was our Valentine Party!  The children have been very excited to bring their Valentines for their friends.

So cute!!!!!

The children wanted to eat first, so we had Valentine chex mix.  I got the recipe here.

These jello pinwheels were a hit.....I made them for Reese's class party at school as well.  So, for all you moms that were asking for the recipe.....here it is.  These are definitely on the list to make for other parties.....so fun and super easy!

And then just little bite size brownie hearts.....I find that when I do bite-size snacks for them, they eat them better than a big cupcake.

Ready to eat!

Yum, yum!!!!

Maddox didn't want to spill on his "Doctor Love" shirt, so he took it off to eat!

L even stayed up to party with us!

Time to hand out Valentines!

Checking out their valentines from their friends.

Games were next!  Valentine Bingo was first......we used candy hearts to cover the spaces.

Then we went on a scavenger hunt to find their goodie bags from me......the clues were all inside, but the last one took them to the porch where they found their bags.

And one last game......Heart Lava!  The carpet was the lava and they were to go from one end of the of the room to the other on just 2 hearts.  They could walk on them, slide on them, pick them up and step to them, whatever they wanted to do.  But they couldn't step on the carpet.  It was a lot of fun!

 Maddox ran off of his!

Just make 2 giant hearts for each child racing......they do rip easily, so you could laminate the hearts or cut them out of cardboard.

Such a fun day!
