Tomorrow (March 2nd) is Dr. Seuss' Birthday! Because of the snowdays this week, some of my kiddos didn't come so we didn't start our Dr. Seuss activities until Thursday so we will continue onto next week as well.....I have lots of fun activities and snacks planned!
Yesterday, we read the story One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. And to go along with our book, we made our own red and blue fishes.
I told the children, whatever paint shirt they put on was the color fish they were going to paint......thankfully there was no arguements!
Since we haven't fingerpainted in awhile, we decided to do that instead of using paintbrushes.
I gave them each a paper plate to paint.
Once the plate was dry, we cut a triangle out of it.....this makes the mouth and the tail. We just stapled it on, added an eye and some glitter to make our fish sparkle. Pretty easy and super cute to hang up!
